The Bureau of Security and Investigative Services requires the following: Work Order – Invoice to be completed in order for the locksmith to legally enter a home, vehicle or reproduce any key. 6980.55. (1) Name. (2) Address. (3) Telephone Number. (4) Date of Birth. (5) Government ID. This is a Government Record. Any false entry made on this document is considered a criminal violation. This form must be kept on file for a minimum of two (2) years from execution. All Information collected is considered private and will be protected in accordance with applicable laws.
1.1 Recording Policy: By engaging in communication with El Cheapo 24 Hour Mobile Locksmith & Road Service Inc., you consent to the recording of all phone calls. Prior to speaking with a dispatcher, a pre-recording notification alerts you to the recording. Your continued conversation implies your consent to this two-party recording. Recordings are utilized for quality assurance and training purposes. Disputes regarding services will be supported by these recordings, which are considered private and retained for 30 days. El Cheapo 24 Hour Mobile Locksmith & Road Service Inc. reserves the right to employ these recordings in any legal proceedings related to provided service.
1.2 Flat Rate Quote: All our services are guaranteed to be carried out with the maximum amount of professionalism and quality. Our quoting software will obtain your flat rate quote based on you answering our questions accurately, but unfortunately, We are unable to take every factor into consideration, We must however note that the quotes are all based on the information you provided and that if there is deviation from those answers upon visual inspection by the technician in the field, We must charge accordingly.
1.3 Payment Policy: Term: Payment is strictly cash in hand unless prior arrangements are made. All fees for storage unit drill outs must be paid in advance before services are provided. For credit or debit card payments, we accept direct swipe or chip authorization for Visa, Mastercard, and American Express with a 4% surcharge. Should the customer or agent request a call-in payment for credit card transactions, a $20 fee will be incurred, and a copy of the exact name on the credit card and government ID must be provided. All quoted prices are cash in hand unless other arrangements are agreed upon. Prices may vary depending on the selected payment method, geographic location, lock brands, vehicle model, and type of key. By engaging our services, I agree to cover all costs incurred by El Cheapo 24 Hour Mobile Locksmith & Road Service Inc. to collect outstanding amounts, including bank fees for returned checks, third-party collection service charges, and associated legal fees.
1.4 Damage Policy: I hereby accept described in service order as agreed by using El Cheapo 24 Hour Mobile Locksmith & Road Service Inc. To be bound by the terms of said damage policy we are not responsible for pre existing conditions, if damage occurs during the process of service, notify the technician immediately and state the problem, If glass is broken , El Cheapo 24 Hour Mobile Locksmith & Road Service Inc. Have 48 hrs to replace like new conditions. I agree that El Cheapo 24 Hour Mobile Locksmith & Road Service Inc. is not responsible for loss and / or damage to my vehicle caused by fire, theft, or any other cause beyond its control and for loss of articles left in the vehicle, or for any delays in repair completion. I further understand that El Cheapo 24 Hour Mobile Locksmith & Road Service Inc. Will not be responsible for any rental car charges I incur. I also grant permission to El Cheapo 24 Hour Mobile Locksmith & Road Service Inc. Employees / agents to operate my vehicle for the purpose of relocating vehicle, etc. during the repair process.
1.5 Limited Service: Warranty. All services to be provided here under will be performed in a diligent, professional and workmanlike manner in good faith and according to Good Industry Practices. I accept terms and conditions and agree on a limited Service warranty agreement for El Cheapo 24 Hour Mobile Locksmith & Road Service Inc. On all Service repairs there will be a 180-day limited warranty on parts and labor following the satisfactory completion of the applicable services. Any third party keys supplied to us will have no warranty coverage (see key policy). If any breakage or service mistakes occurred during the performance of said service that were caused by one of the employees and or agents at the time of services being rendered, then, El Cheapo will have 48 hours to effect repairs using parts that are in like new condition. If unable to effect said repairs within the 48 hours, further needed work will be scheduled for the next available business day by an outside vendor requested by the customer with the approval of El Cheapo 24 Hour Mobile Locksmith & Road Service Inc.
1.6 First Right of Refusal: I hereby acknowledge and accept Terms of first right of refusal on any and all Service repairs breakage or service mistakes occurred during service to be perform caused by one of employee and or agents at the time of services being rendered by employees or agents within 48 hours from agreed service repair. Work will be scheduled for repair the next available business day if unable to perform said service repair / breakage, with authorization from El Cheapo 24 Hour Mobile Locksmith & Road Service Inc. you may schedule an outside approved vendor to be reimbursed.
1.7 If any provision of this agreement shall be held to be invalid or unenforceable for any reason, the remaining provisions shall continue to be valid and enforceable. IF a court finds that any provision of this agreement is invalid or unenforceable, but that by limiting such provision it would become valid and enforceable, then provision shall be deemed to be written, construed and enforced as so limited.
1.8 Customer Supplied Keys: No Warranty: When a service provider explicitly states that he is not offering any warranty for either CUSTOMER SUPPLIED VEHICLE KEY(S) and/or the service being provided, it means that the service provider is not responsible for any issues which may arise while performing and/or after completion of said service. This places the responsibility on the customer to ensure that the service meets their expectations and that they are satisfied with the work done. Liability and Risks: Without a warranty, the customer assumes the risks associated with the service or repair as well as all costs involved which includes payment of the agreed upon price for attempting to program the customer supplied vehicle key even if said attempt proves unsuccessful. If any issues arise during service performance or after the service is completed, the customer will not have any recourse for seeking a resolution from the service provider. Customer-Supplied Vehicle Keys: If a customer supplies their own vehicle keys for a service or repair, it’s important for the service provider to take extra care in handling the keys and ensuring their safekeeping. This is especially crucial as the customer has entrusted their property to the service provider. In summary, El Cheapo 24 Hour Mobile Locksmith does not offer a warranty when the customer supplies his own vehicle key. We do recommend the use of our keys which always include a six month warranty (which does not cover water damage). California law requires matching registration and official government identification when creating any vehicle key. We take the safety of our technicians very seriously which requires us to collect personal information that we do not sell or give out to anyone. By following this locksmithing vehicle key policy, customers can have confidence in the quality and reliability of the keys provided by the locksmith, whether they choose OEM, refurbished, or third-party keys.
